I went up to the Molly B' Dam festival in Murray Idaho today to take the helicopter ride and get some footage for Distant Location. What fun it was to see my old home. It was also an incredible day for shooting anything. Beautiful, hot and sunny! I got the info for the helicopter company for future trips. They have a helicopter with a camera mount. I'm going to see how much it would be to go over Pend O'reille Lake really close to the water.
The editing is going well, but I find more and more I need to have some temp music for most of the scenes. It seems to help me find the emotion and reason for the scene I guess. No backgrounds yet. Wende the production designer and I will get together on Skype, Monday to start discussing what she feels is right. I'll also show her some various floor and furniture colors I can do digitally.
The house is still a mess. Lots to put away and no place to put it. Selling furniture on Craig's list here may be a challenge. Haven't heard back from the antique story about selling my chairs. They probably have enough inventory already.
