The November fable was created by Marque Smith. We were looking for a unique way of making the fable of "The Ant and the Grasshopper" a live action short. In our version, two men are discussing a movie about one man who is frugal and the other who is frivolous with money. This fable features Daniel Haro, who some of you might recognize as our alien in "Eva's Alien" and Lou Fossessca, an LA actor and producer, and new friend to dollHouse.
I'm bringing in quite a bit of animation to the November fable. The beginning will be motion graphics dissolving to the green screen subjects and theatre seating background.
We had two very productive meetings this week. Friday night at Pinocchio's in Burbank we made some solid decisions regarding the 2012 fables. I'm hoping to get our two best writers Brian and Linda to work on 12 installments.
At the Sunday meeting we went over the shot list for the December fable shoot which will happen next Saturday the 19th. This one should be the best yet. I'm really looking forward to working with these people.
